Recommended Practices for Engaging Families:
Webinar Series for Parent Center StaffWould you like to hear about effective practices that are specifically aimed at supporting family and child
engagement? How about resources that support high quality teaming and collaboration?
The ECTA Center will host a series of four short webinars that explore the Division for Early Childhood’s
Recommended Practices (RPs) and some of the tools and resources developed to support the use of the
practices. The fourth and final webinar will be the unveiling of an exciting and new family-level aRPy
Ambassador Initiative designed specifically for Parent Centers.Who should attend?
Parent Center Staff (e.g., PTAC/PTI/CPRC) interested in learning more about:
practices that support family and child engagement
practices that support teaming and collaboration
practices that support the use of instruction to increase child learning
resources and tools developed by the ECTA Center available at no cost

Wednesday, September 11, 2019: aRPy Family Ambassador InitiativeIn partnership with DEC and Parent to Parent of Georgia/Region B PTAC, ECTA will convene the first
cohort of family-level aRPy Ambassadors. Applications will be available to participants at the end of the
series. Up to 10 individuals will be selected from the applicant pool to become part of the aRPy
