Dear Parent Centers in the 2017 Performance Measure Data Collection,
Congratulations on being chosen! The service descriptions that are here are meant to provide you with ideas and examples on how you can most accurately and fully describe your service. The descriptions, and their accompanying support documents, were chosen because they received very high average scores across all three program measures: quality, relevance, and usefulness. They are also diverse in the sort of services they provide and describe. They are not perfect but they all do a very good job at explaining the service and the work that goes into providing that service.
Please note that the descriptions are annotated to highlight areas that are particularly strong and align with the criteria in the program measures that particular narrative addresses.
Please contact your Regional Parent Technical Assistance center if you would like additional support and resources. And remember to share your description with others so that you can correct mistakes and add information you overlooked.
