As of March 9, 2018, the status of state requests for a waiver of 1% cap on alternate assessments is as follows:
• Waivers have been approved for DE, LA, KY, MA, MS, WI
• Waiver has been partially approved for IN (denial for Science assessment)
• Waiver denied for PA due to failure to test at least 95% of students with disabilities
• Waiver requests known to be pending for: AR, GA, HI, ME, OH, OK, TX (may be more)
