US Dept. of Ed has issued interim feedback letters to several more states. They are HI, IA, KY, MS, MO, NE, NH, OH, WA, WI. The Interim feedback letters provide states with specific issues that must be addressed in order for the approval process to move forward. Given the holidays, it is likely that most if not all states will ask for extensions to the 10 day timeline for getting revised plans back to ED.

Also issued are the full peer review notes which should be reviewed carefully.

Get all feedback documents by clicking on your state on the ESSA state plan submission webpage at https://www2.ed.gov/admins/lead/account/stateplan17/statesubmission.html

Of the states that submitted in September, only these are still awaiting feedback: AR, CA, ID, IN, OK, PA, RI, SC, and TX.
